Hand-turned Sculptural Vessels from Hawaii Island-Grown Hardwoods
Welcome to my world of hand-turned sculptural vessels. Each piece I create tells a story, blending the beauty of nature with the artistry of Artmanship right from the Heart of Hawaii Island.

The Journey: From Forest Floor to Finished Form
My creative journey starts long before any wood is spun. Living amidst the lush rainforest, Iāve become a steward of the ecosystem, prioritizing sustainability in everything I do.
Responsible Sourcing
I take pride in my commitment to the environment. I never harvest live native trees. Every exquisite piece of Koa, Milo, or Ź»ÅhiŹ»a I use is sourced from naturally fallen timber or salvaged logs, preserving nature while creating treasured works of art.
A Circular Ecosystem
Nestled in a working homestead, my workshop harmoniously integrates native hardwood plantings with food orchards. This approach ensures that every vessel leaving the farm helps to plant a new legacy in the soil, contributing to a sustainable future.
Listening to the Grain
I respect the unique story each piece of wood tells. Instead of forcing a shape, I let the “moŹ»olelo” (story) written in the rings guide my design. The signature lines you see are a dialogue between my tools and the unique growth patterns of each tree, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind vessel.

Wahine Artmanship: Strength in Every Curve
In a craft defined by tradition, To me, woodturning is more than a skillāitās a rhythmic dance that balances physical strength with intuitive grace.
Join me on this journey of artistry and sustainability. I proudly infuse my work with the nurturing spirit of Artmanship. Every vessel is a blend of skill and devotion unfolding a story with signature sculptural lines that reflects the essence of Island Aloha.
